that Ben and Barry are NOTHING without Gordon. NOTHING. They suck, and you will find that out next year. Gordon influenced our whole team, probably 80% of the time it was good. JR, Downtown, fishwater, you are some of the dumbest SOB's alive.

...I agree that we will be terrible without Gordon. I hope to hell he comes back. You were the #!@+#%* moron that said you didn't care if he came back or not. What a dumbass. Let's see you spin your way out of this.

Edited for my new sig. Thanks, buddy.

That's easy to spin. That was when I thought Hopson was coming to take his place. Why did I actually believe Hopson was coming? I don't know, maybe because I'm dumb. People say he's not that good anyway. But I never said Gordon wasn't the best we had. I did not like his turnovers, though.

I'm sorry, I do not see how I made conflicting statements there. But if it makes you feel better about yourself, by all means. You definitely need it.

you said you dont care if he leaves.
then you said he makes the other two guards not suck, and that 80% of the time, he was a positive part of the team(lineup).

if those statements arent comflicting, they certainly are at the very least odd and confusing.
why would you not care to see him leave? after all, he made the other perimeter players not suck, and he impacted in a positive way 80% of the time!
i sure wouldnt want a player that made others better and was a positive influence 80% of the time to leave. apparently you really dont care...thats whats odd.

...In one, he confesses to agreeing with JR. In another, he calls JR an idiot over the same issue. It's beautiful and sad.

if I remember in overtime. I said during that game when Jamoney fouled out, we'll win. Goat, don't put all your eggs in the Jamoney basket. He's very good, but how many times have you kicked yourself in the head for watching him lose a game for us? How many times?

Neither Ben nor Good Delk even sniff a double-digit average without a Jamont Gordon on the team.

Yes, Gordon did create some open shot opportunities for these players when he would drive and their player would slack off, but if Bost or whoever plays PG for us next year can penetrate the same shots will be open. And although he improved, there were many times these guys were open on the wing that Gordon never saw them, so a PG with better vision would cancel this out.

Then you have to take into account the design of the offense which was centered around Gordon penetrating from the top of the key and getting it inside to Rhodes which meant that Ben and Barry stood around a lot. There are plenty of players similar to them that put up their same kinds of stats just with different offenses.

Overall we'll be worse without Gordon but most of it has to do with losing his ability to pentrate, finish, defend and rebound and not so much b/c of how he made his teamates better. Hans/Stewart are complementary players that would average about the same stats in a number of offenses and might even improve in some offenses that ran their guards of picks and stuff designed to get them open shots. Something we didn't do a bunch of the past few years.
