Probably not because that would actually be a somewhat rational emotion.

Probably a little bit of it.

But obviously what it comes down to is Byrne told Polk no, and it pissed him off because he now realizes that he has no power.

A mature person does not expect respect, he earns it. All respect I once had for Ron is now down the crapper. MSU is so much bigger than Ron. If it were not for all the sacrifice and hard play of the former palyers in the 70's, 80's, 90's then Polk's legacy would be trumped. Polk probably needs counseling, some anger management classes and then sign-up for Match.com (Silver section).
