Auburn makes no bones about it. They are about winning. Period! I'm envious of that.

Their basketball coach cheated and lied. Don't like it but I could live with that. On the other hand, what Beard did (99% of us know it's true including UT) put him on our non-hire list forever. I 100% support.
You mean Beard was accused of doing, with those accusations later retracted by the accuser and admitting the incident was her fault
What he did. She had millions of reasons to retract. UT dropped him once they had all the facts. No way they drop him if they knew he was innocent.

Regardless of the circumstances, I would not lay a hand on my wife (Girlfriend in his case). As a grown man, he did. I would be embarrassed for him to represent USC.
Lots on here would voice objections to Pearl or Freeze being hired at Carolina.
@Dod Rangerfield Xavier went out and re-hired Sean Miller last year after he was fired from Arizona for the NCAA investigation. In return, Miller has them as a 3-seed in the NCAAT this year.

Auburn learned a long time ago that cheating is the only way they can really compete with Bama, LSU, UGA, UT, etc.. They are the poster child for everything that is wrong with college athletics. Clemson is pure as the driven snow when compared to Auburn and the Auburn fans are perfectly fine with the way they do things.
The purpose of the University is not to win football/basketball games at all costs. The University of South Carolina is to serve the citizens of South Carolina and provide education to it's citizens..
Well, you're right of course, but with that said, that is not the prevailing chain of thought on this board. I'm not stating they are wrong to think otherwise, but a much better rate of athletic success would certainly temper frustration
