Anybody think there's a chance that Edsell could wrestle at 157?

Be great if he can make 157. I’m hoping for wrestle offs at 57 and 197. Beard and Dean. OT at beginning of season.

So I hate my thread title. And love the sarcasm Abe

It should have read if Berge goes 65 who goes 57.

Berge can all American at 65 but much tougher than 57.

do Nolf or Zain get a Covid year??

I like whatever the coaches like;). I heard Cael at that press conference and wondered why nobody followed up....it sounds like Clay did and Cael doesn't want to give anything away. Did anyone report what Berge weighed in at in Iowa City last week? If he has been trying to cut, that could explain why he didn't look like himself against Iowa (of course Marinelli could be the reason he didn't look like himself).

I’m going with the latter (Marinelli).

I might be making this up, but I thought I recall hearing 164 and change. I can’t remember if it was Byers or the broadcast or where.

Cael said at his presser after O$U that Berge was working on his weight.... hmm. They have two matches. Can he drop to a weight for tournaments that he hasn’t wrestled at?

He can, but he will get seeded at the bottom.

Can someone enlighten me best prospects at 149, 157 and 165. Lots of guys on Dicemans sheet. Is it recruiting, kids not developing? Those are big holes in line up.

Some guy coming in at 157, that has won 2 college tournaments as a HS senior. I think his name is Haines

Nomad clarifies in comments that Berge will still get a very low seed (even 33rd possibly) if he wins Big Tens
"If he wins Big Tens, he will still have too few matches to be: - coaches ranked - have a registerd win% - earn RPI"

If I recall kerk had a win against MD. Which gave him one win it the big ten going into the conference tournament, not sure how many matches he had going into NCAA's. Berge if my math is correct can descend to 57 for Rider, but that would be a non conference match. I am sure Berge and Cael are well aware of the various options.

Not sure about 157. However Rivera at 141 is looking sensational. Hope Nick Lee out works him preparing for the Big Ten tournament.
