If I am correct and probably not the AP still gives a NC out as well. It's usually the winner of the playoff. You never know.

We need to focus on recruiting, not getting ready for a bowl. Are the extra practices valuable when you’re practicing in a system you no longer even run?

The practices would be a distraction. With lots of players transferring out or electing to sit out, plus you're probably going to hit the portal hard to bring in players for next year, the practices mean much less than before.

They would stomp the mudhole in Washington. They would beat Michigan, but it would be a better game. Michigan has more talent in the two deep roster.

As much as I dislike the bowl streak ending, I have to agree on this. Maybe not in previous years, but given prevalence of player movement, I'd rather Lebby spend the next month finding out who's staying and start trying to fill the roster holes.

On the other hand this could give him a chance to show the guys who are thinking about leaving to see what they are leaving.
