…..and get rid of the coach who can’t beat his rival, they would not have been in this position. How many times in a row did he lose? 5 or 6?

When are we going to learn to not GAF about Ole Miss and do our own thing? Hell we are even trying to copy their logo and hire their coach’s understudy. Getting a little silly

Ole Miss has passed us up over the last two years. Gonna take a heroic effort to dig out of this. We’re the Michigan state to their Michigan now.

We have been here before, and it will flip sooner or later. It always do. We have had three new HC in four seasons. If Leach did not die this season would have been a whole different situation. It will flip. I am not worried.

When the 17 was the last time we fired a coach for consistently losing to Ole Miss?
This is a moot question. To my recollection, we do not have have an example of coach who was successful enough to keep his job, but was fired only for consistently losing to Ole Miss. Felker, Bellard, Tyler, and all the others that came after McKeen had losing records to Ole Miss, but that is not the only thing that got them canned.

It was a common topic of conversation here between 2020 and 2022. And more broadly, the fear of and obsession with Ole Miss in all facets is a cancer in our fanbase.

There is no comparison between Michigan’s situation and ours. They are a have. We are a have not. What they do has no bearing on our behavior. The comparison is ridiculous.

I figured some idiot would say this and be like We WiLl NeVeR mAkEs PlAyOfF. But that’s not the point. It’s that you can’t live and die by what you do vs your rival or what they doing in their program. No matter what the sliding scale of success is.

A lot of people wanted to run Mullen off after losing in 2012, 2014, and 2015. Yes, to some of our fans, the Egg Bowl is the only thing that matters.
In 2014 and 2015? There are always idiots, but Mullen was obviously in no danger of losing his job in 14 or 15.

I'm old enough to remember when Mullen beat them 3 in a row. Remember, even he said "We're never losing to this team again!" Always goes back and forth.

Look at Harbaugh's record prior to beating OSU. We have never had a coach with that good a record who couldn't beat Ole Miss.

We beat them two years ago and they only beat us by 7 this year. Get real.
