What if Rudy played CFB today? How would it play out? Walk on to nd for a year, get a bunch of tattoos, wear thick gold chains, talk trash all over the field, never see the inside of a classroom, parlay the offsides sack into NIL. - chasing in the portal, transfer to arizona state?

Hollywood made the story and person look better and created a good movie. Only thing wrong with the movie is that is was based at Notre Lame. I have read and heard that the real Rudy was a very different person then portrayed in the movie. The real Rudy was actually in the movie behind Ned Beatty in the stadium scene when his dad and brother attended the game.

The Rudy in today's world would have been bullied on social media to a breaking point where he would need mental help. Canceled/arrested for sneaking into the places in the movie on NDs campus. Probably arrested for harassment and stalking trying to get Deebob a date. Chances are he would never be admitted to ND in the first place. If he was admitted and somehow walked on, he would not survive, because players today are much much bigger then they were in the 70s.
