If we don't get in (and I'm thinking we likely don't), then who do you want to play in a bowl for our 10th win?

I saw one projection had us in the Music City Bowl...that would be depressing.

Another had us playing Florida in the Gator Bowl. Can they even do that? Don't recall when I've seen teams from the same conference meet in a bowl game. Assumed it had to be a typo.

I'd hope for a Florida bowl in Orlando, Tampa, or Jacksonville. I don't particularly care who the opponent is.

Everything I’ve seen is Citrus against Illinois. Reality is a lot can change depending on who wins conference Championships.

Illinois is tricky. I always thought it was a big advantage to enter a bowl game as the underdog. We’ll be the favorites in that one…likely without a few key starters.

I think the only one I'd have any interest in going to would be if we played Colorado in Vegas. And that would depend on the opt out situation.

Illinois can run the hell out of the outside zone. We'd have to score a lot to win that one.

If it ended today Ole Miss would get Citrus we would get Tampa or Nashville.

I don’t think it works like that. They get to choose. Last week many felt it was going to be us or Alabama in the Citrus, with Citrus preferring Bama. If Bama is in the playoff, I think we’ll be in Orlando. I’ve seen Ole Miss projected as far down as Las Vegas.

Please give us Miami in a bowl game.... Please please please. And pump 'em way up.

Talk great about them and their QB right up until we play them....

I'd love to run up the score on Miami.

Y'all need to think, there is a strong liklihood that we're gonna be without 8 or more starters in our bowl matchup. I'd pretty much damn well guarantee 8, but it could be as high as 10 or 11.

Just a reminder that many, if not most, of the draft-eligible stud players of whatever team we face in a bowl will likewise be sitting out. It’s not like only ours will be. None of that is to downplay the obvious problem of having the studs on our team sit out, if they do so. Yes, I realize that we are unusually senior-heavy. But just for perspective’s sake.

Guys sitting out will be the same for both teams. Rocket shouldn't play for sure. Don't know who else sits out but there will be some guys on defense taking a break.

Depends on how many players skip and how key they are. Losing a guy like Kennard is huge. I love Rocket, but I think we’ll still find a way to move the football.

Will be interested to see who we match up with and what guys they have opt out. But not opt-outs are equal. But the one thing they do provide is an opportunity for the next guy up. We have some guys that could come in and have a big day on that DL.

The defensive losses is what would massively hurt.

Yep. And I expect Kennard to opt out. But Thomas Jr and Edmund are capable. Wouldn’t be shocked for one of those guys to have a big day for us. We’ll need it.

I really hope our guys can get a sense of what a special season they have worked SO hard to put together and feel compelled to see this thing through to the finish.

They've busted their a**ses for 11 months. To quit now would like climbing Everest and then stopping 10 feet from the top because you're afraid of slipping and falling.

Constantly throughout the season when personal stats are brought up, guys say the usual "nobody here is focused on individual accomplishment; it's all about the team." Why should the logic for Games 1-12 suddenly be thrown out the window for Game 13. If the chips fall the right way, we could end up ranked top 10 at season's end.
