What would you do if you saw a pro team doing it? I don't love throw it in the dirt, but at least its our fans that do it, not the players.
We'd better hire Showalter and hope to get some ESPN time to counteract this.I think the cheer is annoying as hell, but when little kids all over the state are doing it at their games and referring to it as the "Ole Miss dirt cheer", who am I to argue with the exposure.
I'll watch them play and make sure that I listen closely for the "WOOOO" noise. When I actually do pinpoint the noise, which will be a challenge given that we are talking JP/LF/whatever they are broadcasting, I will form an opinion and probably will laugh. I watched the game last night and didn't notice.SoxFan343 said:or throw it in the dirt the entire game, every game, you'd be just as pissed.
Your acting like this isn't a big deal, and it really isn't, but if ya'll had played that game, you'd be just as annoyed by it.
Have you heard it?

I don't minds fans doing cheers, I do mind players doing cheers.
