I remember attending Buddy Ryan’s first game as head coach of the Eagles, against Washington at RFK, 1986. In the first quarter, Ryan had Cunningham take a quick kick on 3rd-and-long, and the play went perfectly except for Philadelphia being called for illegal motion. So they do the play over and neglect to change the call and Washington crushes the play. Good times.
