At this point, I wouldnt be surprised to see the SoCon cellar dweller give MSU all it can handle.
The team can clearly play with and seriously challenge almost any opponent. They took a couple of top 5 programs to OT, they beat a ranked Bama, and they beat a ranked Arkansas. In other games, they were as good as LSU, UT, Arkansas, and Bama for 90% of the minutes.
But I wouldnt be surprised if they lose in the 1st round of the NIT sort of like when MSU lost to #5 UMASS in 2OT back in 2012 to end Stansbury's tenure.
