I'm as excited about this group of receivers since the D.Williams, D.Butler and J. Norwood combo..

I think they have the ability to damage to some defenses, and by all reports one of the freshman is a lock to be a star.

Lots of potential, but there is a lot to prove for the young WR's to fill the void that Dotson leaving created. Dotson made very difficult catches look routine. A few of Dotson's TD catches would not have been completions/TD's by average college WR's as the throws were not accurate, so better, more accurate QB performance is also a must for PSU's passing game to take a step forward this coming season which requires at least some improvement in the OL's ability to maintain a pocket as well as improvement in accuracy by Clifford.

Hope springs eternal in the Spring!!! :giggle: But can quickly fade in the Fall.....

Eh, they were around for the Morelli years too. I just think the position in general is highly overrated. It's not like they can throw themselves the ball.

Dotson's stats were excellent last year-so WRs can succeed. Parker Washington is an excellent receiver and with Tinsley and others we should be top notch. We have several top rated Wrs coming in this year. What we did not have was a RB who could break talent who had top end speed-hopefully with our 2 top RBs coming in this year, improvement in running game will be shown. I think potential and promise is there for sure.
