<font face="Times New Roman">I came late to the knowledge that Cohen is our new man (didn't realize it until I read it in the dead tree edition of the CL this morning).
Predictably, Ron Polk felt inspired to throw a hissy fit upon hearing his political shoo-in, Raffo, was not appointed Heir Apparent to MSU baseball.
Ron Polk, you are an embarrassment.
What makes you think a "coach" who ditches his job as HC of an illustrious baseball program in order to conduct windmill fights with the NCAA....what makes you think anybody is going to take your crazy *** seriously after you didn't even finish with a winning record in the SEC after your return from UGA?
Anyway, I am suddenly not embarrassed by all 3 Big 3 men's coaches: I like Croom, Stansbury & Cohen. All 3 are men with dignity who possess the drive to win. All 3 know how to transform high school idiots into serviceable citizens & competitive [college] athletes.
Ron Polk: Please tell me when I can contribute a can of paint to your quest to mark your name off the baseball facility. I will gladly help your crazy *** paint over "Polk" in the Polk-Dement stadium title.
John Cohen is going to have this squad back in the hunt next season. Those players that stay, they will give it their all. You pussies who don't like the hire, hit the road MFers. Chances are you were recruited by Polk anyway. It's not like Polk demanded an ample supply of masculinity out of his recruits.
Take heed: John Cohen is going to bunt, run & demand his players play like men. I realize the majority of Polk recruits are not going to like being treated like men. They want to be treated like girls...told how great they are after a 10-0 loss.
I look for MSU to be at least middle of the pack next season under Cohen. The year after that, it's in the hunt for Omaha.
This is the best MSU sports hire since [whomever] hired Sherrill.
Ron Polk, you are a disgrace.
When MSU baseball attendance goes up 60% next year, be sure to have a zinger ready.
Cohen is a fantastic hire.
MSU is now officially back on the national college baseball scene.
