I'm still delusional and hanging onto the thread that we can win this game.

I'm on the other end of the spectrum. I think OSU could troll us and just run the ball the whole game...zero pass attempts and still easily roll to a win,

I've moved on to Maryland to be honest. They need to win next Saturday at Maryland to end the losing streak and to have any hope of a decent finish. With no running game there are no easy wins as we just witnessed this past Saturday.

It's just my loyalty and eternal optimism, that blinds me.
Mr. Potter. I believe this. Our gallant lads shall attack them on the ground, they shall attack them with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, they shall defend our goal line, whatever the cost may be. They shall battle them in the 1st half, they shall battle them in the 2nd half, they shall battle them in any overtimes; they shall never surrender. Let our team therefore brace themselves to their duties, and so bear themselves that, if Penn State and its Commonwealth Campuses last for a thousand years, men will still say, “This was their finest hour.”

Given that my Gladbach beat Bayern Munich 5-0 yesterday (worst Bayern loss since 1978), I guess anything *is* possible. But I'm not betting on it.

What is the forecast looking like for Columbus on Saturday night? I'm seeing some light rain and then tails off later in the night. Could the poor weather conditions help to slow down OSU a bit? Force a couple unexpected turnovers? Have we seen C.J. Stroud in a messy rain game yet? I would just really like to see us keep this game within 20 points.

Or what about this one from Sir Winston ... "Success consists of going from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm." Looks like we got our failures out of the way ... now let's find some enthusiasm and succeed! :)

Fair, as I've mentioned on other posts in this board, I'm about a 12 year lurker on the McAndrew Board, but never posted. I'm really glad you've decided to make the jump over to On3. Posts like these are what make you one of my favorites.

Thanks for the kind words. Sir Winston was a wise man. Welcome aboard!

Still like this team when comparing it to last years early collapse. I think they have some fight in them.

Assuming Clifford is healthier based on what has been said by him and staff, Penn St will play hard.
