my signature is dead on.

The USM cops were right, Polk is a crazy man, they let him off light just escorting him off the field, he should have been arrested.

I'll take a moment to thank the sweet little baby Jesus that LT and Polk are history.

Polk, your name = ZERO CWS titles. Zilch.

As for Raffo, if he was so damned good, then why hasn't he ever been offered one single head coaching job? Not even a NAIA school called for him.

I wish Cohen would tell you to STFU - you're childish actions are taking from the highlight of one of YOUR former players.

Kaczynski was a man who hated technology; he used an old manual typewriter to write his manefesto. So did Ron Polk.

I know exactly what Byrnes'll tell you, lies. He was no different from any other AD official in the ward room, they were all disloyal. I tried to run the ship properly, by the book, but they fought me at every turn. The crew wanted to walk around with their shirt tails hanging out, that's all right, let them. Take the tow line, defective equipment, no more, no less. But they encouraged the crew to go around scoffing at me, and spreading wild rumors about steaming in circles, and then old yellow-strain. I was to blame for Coach Raffo's incompetence and poor batting coaching. Coach Raffo was the perfect officer, but not Coach Polk. Ah, but the strawberries, that's where I had them, they laughed at me and made jokes, but I proved beyond the shadow of a doubt, with geometric logic, that a duplicate key to the ward room icebox did exist, and I've had produced that key if they hadn't pulled MSU Baseball out of action. I know now they were only trying to protect John Cohen . . . Naturally, I can only cover these things from memory. If I've left anything out, why, just ask me specific questions and I'll be glad to answer them one by one.

Until today, I had pretty much shrugged everything in the beginning (NCAA tirades, USM behavior, etc.) to "Polk being Polk." I even gave him some benefit of the doubt when he got kicked out of the games at Kentucky. I really couldn't fathom putting his own personal agenda over a baseball program that he brought to the forefront of college baseball, in order to put Raffo in a situation to be the head guy for a couple of days. I even thought his push for Raffo would end quietly, when someone else was named HC. Boy was I naive. --I hope he realizes that he said some things today that our fanbase will never forgive him for, and should not forgive him for. Ron Polk, you are a joke. Your ego has ruined any great legacy you deserved.

I couldn't agree more. I let most of his crap this year slide because it was his last season, didn't like it but in time would have forgotten it. Now, I say write him off for good. He could still come out and say he overreacted and go on about his demented way but nonetheless he needs to go away and let Cohen build his legacy.

You knew that I was coming when you heard my name, and you know my game, but I've felt your pain. Can't read my brain but you've read my lips, and got scared seeing my teams getting lots of hits. Now don't even trip, be a man instead, someone needs to bust Ronnie's head. He's in the red cause his mind is distorting, people thought they knew him but they only new a portion. I'm gonna move mountains and touch the sun, get ready BULLDOGS, your day has come!! So hold your bids, all bets are closed, and <17> you Ron Polk!

Polk then said he now wants to return to coaching as a volunteer assistant.

He was mad and his voice quivered. He said he won't stay in Starkville, either. He also said he won't attend tomorrow's press conference. That's probably a good thing.

For Polk's sake (and all of our sakes' as well), would you give him one of your "accesories" in that picture?

The man needs something to do.

What are the odds he starts begging Bianco for a spot to show he's done with State?
