Outside of coaching changes or recruiting, what could Selmon do over the next 6 months to inject some kind of fresh excitement into the program before the 2025 season? Here is a list:
1. Announce maroon chair backs throughout lower bowl and LEDs by 2025 season. (Slight reduction in capacity)
2. Announce plans to start construction on closing in south end zone area (suites, recruiting center, minimum GA seating.)
3. Maroon helmet is our identity and will be primary helmet going forward. Any alternate color helmet limited to 1 game a year.

What would you do (within reason)?

Buy 17ing players is the correct answer. Idk why anybody gives a flying 17 about led lights or speakers. Chairbacks at my age would be nice but watching a competent team will make you forget all about that other dumb schitt
Yep! Winning is the only answer. Talent and good coaching equals winning. If he wants to protect his boy then he better get him some talent. If not, he’ll have to tell him to hit the road.

But don’t forget about the $1 beers, Selmon.

I agree with the lighting and speakers, simply because that’s what the upgrades are with other stadiums, and students and most fans want that. Also agree with closing in the SEZ. We need something like that that will help sell our program.
I don’t really think chairbacks are needed. My chairbacks that I order with my tickets work fine for three hours. And I’ve noticed that all the other SEC stadiums use the exact same thing.

Simply "announcing" something doesn't mean ****, they been announcing that game day internet service was getting better multiple years but it hasn't. Actions speak louder than words.

Helmet color, is that really a priority? If a team can't win or lose because of their helmet color there are a lot of other issues ahead of that

Do you inject a pulse or inject a substance that gets the pulse going? If they have a way to inject pulses into things we have let a lot of people die when we didn’t need to. I hate we have apparently been using it for something as superfluous as college football programs.

I would only do chair backs on the east side. Students and visitors still get bleachers.

The South end zone definitely needs bowling in, but we don't really have demand for more attendance. It would be nice to get some acoustical engineers to help us figure out how to make it as loud as possible. Given that this expansion would cap our total capacity, we don't need to cheap out here. It's worth seven figures to get this right, so bring in a firm that has done this for NFL stadiums like Seattle's.

I think it would be great to make the lower part a general admission section for the drunk rowdy fans to go and the upper part be a hotel, not condos or box seats. I think if you had multiple levels with balconies where each level going up stuck out more than the one below, you might get sound reflected back down onto the field. Having it be a hotel instead of condos means that you can get revenue year round, puts it near the heart of campus, and allows the average fan the chance to essentially have a skybox for a single game without having to shell out way more money. You could make it $1000/night (Friday and Saturday required) and allow up to 8 people per room to watch from the room and you would find thousands of State fans willing to make a splurge like that.
