we have a 4 star rated qb in Tyler Russell. How pissed would everybody be if we didn't land him last year? Everybody needs to get off of this "Cam is the savior" wagon. The dude tore it up in Community College, didn't "Shorty" tear it up also? The fact that he is wanted by everybody is great, but TR might be the 4 year qb that this university has been craving for since, hell, it's existence. How many kids have we signed in the past that we thought were going to be the next coming, but turned into a big "Cleveland Steamer'? It's kind of like the Sidney situation, if he gets in we automatically turn into a national contender. He could easily turn into a bigger version of Randy, but lazy on the defensive end like Kodi or Ravern. Just saying that the board is just gotten to the point of wooliness beyond all belief. I think Lee was an AA, and Hal Chelander (possible sp)...Chelander was a total and complete bust, and Lee gave all that he had, & you know his story.
Now to Newton... the factor that I have hung onto about him, is not that he did so well at Blinn CC, but that Mullen knows him very well, and wants him.
