Saw this article this morning about PSU football. I think PSU wrestling does a great job with this (take a look at the 10 thoughts at the end of the article). How about the wording for #9? I've never heard it put that way before.
Am I missing something? Where is the article, did you say where it was or provide a link that I am not seeing?

Drew not being able to embrace failure is the result of his 2023 brainwashing to be terrified of turnovers. Franklin can say as often as he wants now that Drew needs to just “let it rip” but that was coached out of him and it’s hard to get that swagger and fearlessness back.

There were a lot comments last year about the difference in psychology between the football and wrestling teams and hopefully getting someone like Bonnie Epstein to work with Drew. It’s what Drew needs but unfortunately it’s probably too late.

Make Bo Nickal the QB coach. A few weeks of “This is what we do” will change the mental state.

Allar is not getting much better still not real accurate that bomb was more of a great catch than an accurate throw not really decisive on his throws hesitates to much instead of just winging it!starting for 3 yrs now Beau in first yr at Missouri looking like a seasoned veteran throwing dimes all over the field!

The quote I liked the most from the article was when Dr. Friesen talked about failure: “We have to love failure enough to embrace it.” It seems like PSU wrestling does well at fostering this belief because their guys aren’t afraid to throw down and let it fly. Many kids clam up in big moments, but the PSU guys seem unafraid to just go for it.
