I don't even have the words to describe how egotistical he appears to be. Both of those franchises had a prime opportunity to be the face of a united New Orleans in the midst of recovery, yet they can't even get Chris Paul on the sidelines for an interview during a Saints game. It's not really that unbelievable that it's happening in New Orleans, especially with Benson. He basically sees a pie and he wants it all. He doesn't see the potential to share a much, much, much bigger pie.

It's really sad, but I guess it reeks of typical New Orleans dealings. It's just a shame they actually thought they had to compete over the dollars remaining after Katrina, instead of working together to make sure there were many more dollars to share down the road.

Tom Benson and George Shinn - two of the biggest money-grubbing ******** in pro sports. The situation in New Orleans is really no surprise, especially since Benson is heavily involved. Although like Sesh said, it is really sad Benson is so short-sighted with it all. There aren't many people in sports I hate more than Benson.
