I think we've been shackled with relatives before. It's bad for everyone.

I used to work at a place rife with nepotism and cronyism and it nearly killed the business. Copper was being stolen from the warehouse. It happened a couple of times, then the owner had cameras installed. Caught his druggie brother. So did the owner have his brother prosecuted or at least fire him? No, he was allowed to continue working there in the same capacity. And the issue was never "resolved" or discussed again.
