his first 3 seasons in Columbia are the winningest 1st 3 seasons for any coach in school history...and he is doing that in the SEC East

you know good and well he could not have won more than 9 games at MSU had he been the coach during Croom's first 3 years. Croom is just as good as Spurrier. We would be and idiot, a dubmass idiot, to want Superrior over Croom.

You can't take over a program and win overnight. It...........takes...................time.......................

Nobody ever said the guy couldn't coach but the reality of the situation is that South Carolina isn't any closer to winning an SEC title than we are. They're slightly above average and that's probably all they're gonna be. Yeah I know they're in the East but I'm sure Spurrier was aware of the divisional setup when he took the job.

he didn't take over the cluster-17 that Holtz took over. Holtz had an 8-4 and a 9-3 season in his first 3 years at USC. Spurrier hasn't had a season as good as either of those in his 3 years at USC. The fact is, Spurrier took over a 6-5 team and has gone 7-5, 8-5, and 6-6 with it. Hell of a job there, Visor Boy.
