Came across this on the X. I know PFF isn't the end all be all, but it's a data point. Interesting to see the RB values. The lowest rated RBs get $20K. I don't know what Mario's PFF grade was. But I would assume he's be in the 50-100 range.

What NIL amount did Mario have with USC?Wouldn't surprise me if Mario gets in the $150-200k range. This data supports my thinking.
Absolutely no way he gets $200,000. He's the 14th ranked RB in the portal.Wouldn't surprise me if Mario gets in the $150-200k range. This data supports my thinking.
Nobody knows anything about how much NIL any player gets. Numbers are never, or rarely, are released. What NIL amount did Mario have with USC?
Your guess is as good as mine but it had to be next to nothing coming out of Newberry. From what I heard, USC put a package together for him but he thinks he can do better elsewhere. What NIL amount did Mario have with USC?
They guy that posted this is from AthleteNIL. I believe they're a big national agency that procures deals for SAs. So he would actually have some hard data behind it. This is the first time I've seen someone with real data put something on paper. How do we know what anybody gets- I mean really? And these valuations writers come up with? I mean, how are these figures compiled and by whom? Unless somebody lays ALL the confirmed payments out on the table and adds them up, how good is any of this "data"?
He's a proven lead back at an SEC school.Absolutely no way he gets $200,000. He's the 14th ranked RB in the portal.

He put up nice numbers with a crappy OL.
I don't know what he'll get and we may never know but an SEC starter has to be worth $150-200k.
Go ahead and tell me that he'll sit the bench or won't be at the top of the depth chart at a major university. I'm not buying.
No offense to Mario, but he isn't that good to get that kind of money.Wouldn't surprise me if Mario gets in the $150-200k range. This data supports my thinking.
It would be interesting to see what he could have done running behind UGA's OL though.Fact is, we just don't know. College football history is littered with players who burst onto the scene and then fizzled out. I'm not making any projections about his future. But if $200,000 is top-end NIL money for a RB, Mario is not a top-end RB. I'm not saying he's not good, but, again, he only ranks 14th in the portal at his position. Yes, he was a starter at an SEC school, but it was one of the worst SEC teams. You're not talking about starter at UGA or Bama.

Here's another good piece of info. 3 days into the portal madness they had sent out 61 contracts at an average of $120K per.
So, he would also have a reason to overstate the values? It sounds like trusting his data about the going rates for players would be like trusting Jimmy Sexton's data about the going rate for coaches. Like King said, I think I'd want to see the IRS data before establishing any tangible values. They guy that posted this is from AthleteNIL.
