And Clark cannot shot a 3 without pushing the defender to get open. Ridiculous officiating. They have been to the line 8 times. We have been ZERO

It’s all good - we have taken Iowas best shoot and I believe the second half will be the difference. Reminding me a little of the first LSU Game except Iowa doesn’t have the team LSU has to withstand the second half surge -

It’s like the opposite football team holding. We can do it too. Why not learn how to sell a call?

put Fulwiley back in, they can’t guard her. Don’t like how Dawn coached that quarter. Need to go inside more, why are we high posting Cardoso so much? Let her go to work

This is obvious that these refs have put bets down on this game. I’ve seen at least four phantom fouls called against our girls. This is blatant

BS travel call on Fulwilly a minute ago and the. She got hacked several times on the drive where she went behind the back and no call. If that would have been Clark- they would have called it before she got to the foul line

After a 10-0 start that grew to 20-9 at the mid-point of the 1st Period for Iowa, South Carolina out-scores the Hawkeyes 40-26 the rest of the half to take a 49-46 lead into halftime.....

Gamecocks have 10 fouls called to just 6 for the Hawkeyes, while Iowa is 10-11 at the foul line to just 2-5 for South Carolina. But the Gamecocks bench has out-scored Iowa's 22-0 in the first half to balance that out......

ESPN real time odds say it's the Cocks' game to lose (73.3% in favor of us).

You’re wrong my friend. Johnson has shut her down
I don't think I'm wrong at all. The problem Clark has is that she loves that 3-point shot (as she should), but she has made a layup on every drive to the basket except one and she should have made that one but got lazy. It is easy for her to drive around opponents because they have to be up so tight on her to guard against the three.

Up by 9 with a chance to put this game away and after an Iowa timeout, SC comes out and looks sloppy as hell.

Gamecocks extend their lead to 9 68-59 through 3 periods of play. Freshman Tessa Johnson leading the Gamecocks with 15 pts on 6-9 shooting, 3-5 from beyond the arc...

South Carolina is trying to run clock and when they do their offense goes to crap! I understand the thought process but the offense has gone stagnant and they aren't scoring. The 3's from Iowa are coming!

Too much depth; too much talent. Enough said. We are the Dynasty program, everyone else are pretenders. We need a big to keep it going but Johnson and Fulwiley going forward are un stoppable with big play

I don't think that is the proper way to teach the game or how to win championships. People don't respect that type of play......too much like cheating. My brother was a flopper back in the day and I couldn't stand it.

I honestly thought we were going to get crushed when I was watching the 1-2 quarters. Iowa's entire offensive strategy was to set screens for CC, and it was working for a while. Then we started rebounding and shutting their offense down

I saw a clip on Twitter of Clark flinging one of our players to the ground to get open for a 3. Is that typical of their play?

Granted, I never saw an Iowa game, but this is what I think of when I think of them.
