That prof was a total weenie. It’s common for college courses to have optional finals - i.e., you will be get the grade you already earned if you don’t take the final, so the question was a legitimate one if that topic wasn’t clearly covered prior.
At that point D's got degrees for me.
I think I needed an 8% or something on the final.

I already had my job lined up and it was not dependent on my GPA. I think I answered about 50% of the questions and turned it in. Passed the class and graduated.

You’re being too literal just to be argumentative.

What eligibility does your imaginary son have? Height? Weight? Traditional drop back or a mobile QB? How much imaginary money to get him an imaginary slot at PSU?
My imaginary son. is 6'6" 240lbs and runs a 4.2 40. But is a drop back QB with a strong arm and perfect accuracy too. He can throw the football 90 yrds into a trash can. Not one of those 40-50 gallon cans, but the small ones like you might have in your office. Hit 1,213 of the 1,213 times he has attempted this.

Tuition is free (mostly) for kids of employees so I didn't pay for him to go to college. CJF just allows him to play whenever he wants. He doesn't need to play in the NFL because he made a ton of money modeling and then made great investments (like bought 1 miilion bitcoin at $0.25 great). He's got a great gf that he will probably marry in a few years. They seem to really love each other.

So, he can do whatever he wants has long as he deals with the consequences. I have told him since he was 18, he can do his own thing.

We've discussed this before. I'd have the same conversation with him. What's the concern?
He found out Allar was staying, he acted emotionally and transferred. He has every right to do so but instead of owning, he lied, and said he had to decide by 12/28 which was false. He also said he had no other options. Which was false. All he had to say was he was doing what was best for him, but, like coward, he didn't.
Many of us are Penn State graduates--doesn't mean we're above criticism. Do you think all Penn State grads and former athletes are perfect?
Let's be read knoxy

LOL... Such class to call a PSU graduate a coward.....

Pure class.

This is KING LOADO at his finest. Calling a 22 year old scholar athlete and PSU graduate a coward.

You should be a UM fan......

He majored in Communications--let's not pretend he's out here saving the world.
Are all Penn State graduates beyond attack? You have no issue attacking me.
He's a paid athlete--not a college kid

We can either put Lando on ignore, so that the board goes back to normal, as much as it can ... or we can argue with him ad infinitum (as he'll never stop), and spend your day calling him names, and ruin the board in the process, thereby showing you're no better than him.

It's your choice. Show what kind of person/poster you are.

Pointing out you are an *** who attempts to belittle scholar athletes and PSU graduates isn't "attacking you."

Beau had options. He as yet to take any accountability for his decision. The blamed the NCAA and now we have people blaming Franklin for rules he knew we he joined the program.

Did any other Penn State player have the same issue or did they leave after the playoff run was over?

The reality is you don't like to deal with the facts of the situation. You're acting like majoring in Communications means he can't be criticized for his decisions/behavior.

He made his choice--those have consequences but keep fixating on me because you know I'm right. It's nothing we haven't discussed before kiddo.

He took accountability. He transferred to the University of Missouri to get his masters degree and start at QB because he couldn't start at PSU, and that's precisely what he is doing. And he had a fine first game as a starter.

There is nothing you can say or do about the kids success.

I believe what @Moogy posted just above, but first everyone needs to know what a tool you are.

I had to look what board I was on and if I went back in time. Lando still bashing on Beau and going with the opposite of what anyone else says sure brings back rivals board memories. All we need now is him telling us how bad West Virginia is in every game day thread plus how we need an 64 team playoff and the transformation will be complete.

This is you just making up stuff--half of this board was critical of Beau--you just ignore that because....
WVU finally fired Neal Brown and is free of Garrett Greene--not sure what you think I was wrong about there. Nicco Marchiol should have been starting at QB there but now they have a real coach he finally is.

He didn't take accountability--he blamed the NCAA and lied. He stated he had to transfer by 12/28 which was untrue.
He was going to stay until Allar stayed so that's insincere as you know.
He did well against an FCS school--good for him. Hopefully he continues to do well for his own good. We're better off with him gone. Grunk's the better QB. It's best that Beau left so he stayed.
You can criticize me all you want--I'm right. That's all that matters.

Why tell Franklin?
Countless other players waited until the playoff ended. Didn't seem to he an issue for anyone other than Beau.
He did the right thing. Franklin said the system didnt help the timing of the decision and it needs to be changed, So he had to make it when he did.

He didn't though--_Franklin is just using that to try to create the change he wants. Franklin has made his opinion of the portal well-known and, wisely, tried to use this situation to his advantage.

Saying "Beau did what was best for him" is 100% fine--I wish that's how it would have been handled but it's untrue to say "he had to make it when he did"--he absolutely didn't. He made the choice to do so. He's not a victim of the system here--the system greatly benefited him.

SMU's backup QB stayed. Ohio State's backup QB stayed.

lol. They didn’t have the opportunity that Beau was presented. Beau is the starter for Missouri. Plain and simple. His decision was the right one and received 1.5 mil as well. Well done Beau!

If the offer was presented to him he didn't need to wait...
And he didn't get 1.5M--there was a package with a value of allegedly that amount--primary living, a car and travel/accommodations for his parents. He didn't see anywhere near that amount of money.
Good for Beau though--again, had he owned it instead of blaming the NCAA I wouldn't be criticizing him but he refused to take accountability.

Ummmm..... he didn't "leave", he graduated. Why would PSU Graduates be happy when other PSU graduates are successful and making their dreams reality (a PSU Graduate who is also a native Pennsylvanian and former Pennsylvania high school player) - is that really your question??? If you don't understand why one PSUer is happy to see another PSUer succeed and realize their dreams...., well honestly you have zero class and aren't really a true Penn Stater.
I’m not a true Penn Stater because I’m not cheering for someone who left PSU with eligibility left and went to play for a competitor???? Wow, that’s a reach. Did you cheer for Silas Redd?

You're wrong. Dreadfully wrong. And you are the only person who doesn't know it... lmfao...

PSU is so better off having their third string QB become the second string.... Idiot.

I'm not the "only person" Grunk is the better QB and Beau leaving allowed us to keep him. We'll see in a few years which QB proves to be better.

None of this alters the FACT he had options. Not sure why you can't admit that.

That is great. Hope for Beau to get injured. What a guy.
Do you lack reading comprehension? Where in his statement does it say he is hoping the kid gets hurt? Making an observation that he's taking a lot of hard hits doesn't mean you're hoping he gets hurt.
