But his players got better as time went on. Not with these coaches. And I disagree that he cost games, unless you are talking about Alabama in the Sugar Bowl.

I love Joe but he made plenty of mistakes. Punting from the 34 or so in 1999 against Minnesota instead of trying a FG with an excellent kicker comes to mind
