Some time ago he stated that he decided not to reclassify because he thought his body needed another year to develop before playing college ball. I watched some of his recent highlights yesterday, and I can see what he meant. He still looks like a high schooler (which is fine, because he is). When you look at the top PF from previous classes, he's about the same in terms of height/weight, I guess he just doesn't look as muscular. I'm just curious from those who have watched him play more, since I've only watched a few highlights, do you have any concerns about the physical aspect? There's obviously no question at all about his skills.

Who knows? Very few if any are ready for 82 game schedule against grown a$$ men. My hope is if he is not physically ready he sticks around. But with the money out there and the new CBA about to happen, he would be a damn fool financially to not be one and done

Well, yeah, he definitely is not physically ready for the NBA. I guess I'm just a little "concerned" that he's basically going to use us for his senior year as a shortcut to the NBA. I could be way off, but when I watch his tapes, I don't see a body that's ready for college ball.

Yes, he is ready but like anyone else, he won’t be playing 40 minutes at first. Coaches will control that and will get him ready and increase his minutes.

Pistol Pete always looked like a scrawny kid - you never know what's "underneath the hood" when it comes to basketball skill and abilities.

I have many concerns in my life, but this is not one of them. If a top 10 recruit wants to sign and play with us, I'll worry about his body type if he gets punked around on the court. I hope we just land him.

It’s not using us. He’s the number 1 player in the nation and when your school get the number 1 player they’re only there for a year and off to the nba.

Not to quibble, but his rating is for the 2023 class. Not sure what his rating will be for reclassifying to 2022. Still high, obviously.

I think he’s definitely ready. Now to see if he forgoes his Sr. year of high school or not. He may be trying to get a taste of that $$$ early.
