Is it just me, but every time our so called "Coach of The Year" makes..
A critical in game pitching change the next opposing batter either puts a dent in the fence or hits one that requires a tape measure? Seems like the first batter after every pitching change, in a clutch time, tees off on one and it blows up in everyone on here's coach of the year's face. Maybe the guy knows the game of baseball but he's got as much feel for a game or his players as I do flying a space shuttle. He doesn't seem to know what players are ready for certain situations. I played college ball and our coach would take people out of starting lineup or not use one of our better pitchers just from the way some one's demeanor and attitude before a game. He could read players. He would pinch hit somebody hitting .075 in a crucial situation and the guy would get a hit. Not because he was one of our better hitters, but because of his attitude and demeanor prior to the start of THAT GAME. Cohen doesnt seem to have that ability to read his players body language, and that's a big part of baseball, especially with 18-22 year old kids.
