Put bluntly, we have a mathematical shot. Sure. Have to win out. That's a given. Strange things can happen if we win out. Sure.
Likely? No. Lol. No. We can't get out of our own way on offense. Elite D, middle school offense.
My thought too. Off-season personnel decisions on offense have bitten us in the rear this season. Of all seasons to have an impotent offense, when our defense is elite. We lose bunches on defense after this season, probably Clayton White as well. smh
Conventional wisdom says a 9-3 SEC team is ranked top-15. Unfortunately we lost to the highest ranked SEC teams we'll play, and since we didn't start ranked, losing close games to LSU and Bama will sink us.
What we need to do is take it one game at a time. Focus on the next opponent and get to the highest rated bowl we can.

We would need to obviously run the table and have lots of help. Would need Clemson and Miami to both lose 2 or more. We would need the SEC to get at least 4 teams in. Georgia and Texas seem to be certainly in. Tennessee probably also, but they play Georgia still. If a 3 loss SEC team gets in, it could be Bama or LSU, who beat us head to

I like the hype after a good win. But so far we have lost to all the ranked teams that we have played. LSU and Alabama were blown opportunities. We only scored a field goal against Ol’Miss.
Ahh, I remember not too long ago (6 months ?), when some thought having a team with 3 loses going to the the playoffs would be, blasphemy, disgraceful, and/or lessen the sanctity of the season.
