Yes. He’s Jack’s brother, from another Mother.

Jack is my all time favorite player. My second favorite is Tony Delk. I’ve seen Jack out in public at least a dozen times over the years. He’s the nicest, most approachable, and appreciative “hero” that you could possibly hope for. I love the Goose. A lot of times, your sports heroes aren’t really that nice as people. Johnny Bench, Pete Rose, Fred Couples, and Larry Bird are among my all time favorites. However, they aren’t exactly the nicest people you’ll meet.

Jack is so nice, that it makes you love him even more as a person, than a UK basketball legend.

Every UK player I've gotten to meet has been very nice. Kenny Walker talked to me like we had been lifelong friends. Makes you proud to be a fan.

Kenny was at the bank my wife worked at in Greenville KY one year for a promotion for the bank, she got pictures and his autograph. She said he ask the question, do people still remember Kenny Walker? My sister went to school with him at UK, said he did a hilarious Stevie Wonder impersonation!

I met Kenny in the bathroom at LEX. And... he was great guy, would talk to anyone no matter what he was doing. I sat next to Tubby on a plane when he was flying to Oklahoma to recruit that kid whose name begins with A and dad had financial trouble. Tubby was nice guy, even dished dirt on the kid he was recruiting to a stranger, said the kid played like a superstar but didn't bother to play defense.. I sat next to Travis Ford on a plane and he didn't want to talk at all, cold fish. I also remember meeting Adolph Rupp who was judging the Mountain Laurel Beauty pageant when I was a kid.
