I wasn't around for that era, but I've heard tales from the older folks... the 60's were BAAAD.60's
2002-2003 were the worst I’ve ever seen. We’d be rolling and then give up as soon as the other team scored. And that was in the era where scoring 28 points on 400 yards was prolific. That’s nothing these days, and we’d lose by 3+ TDs every loss.Asdf
They’re bad enough now that my Ole Miss in-laws have stopped even bringing them upAsdf
feels like 2002-2003. Bad and no way to change it soon.Asdf
This game. https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/boxscores/2003-09-20-houston.htmlBeen going to games for over 45 years, and I think this is as bad as I’ve seen us. 83-90 was pretty bad, but I don’t think one of those teams would’ve Gwen blown out by Toledo.
60's and MSU fan since 81. Worst team I've ever seen and I've seen some gross teams. All we need is a tornado warning and lockeroom fight to top it offAsdf
This.Shira Era was simply bad.
Put that out of my mind. What a start.This.
1967-1970.
My very first MSU football game was at Houston in 1969.
74-0.
The Shira era was bad
This is the issue.Leadership lacking in every important position at MSU. Fan since 1978 and even the tech and 10 year didn't feel this bad. We hired an inexperienced AD because "he had a plan". Still waiting. He then hired an inexperienced coordinator as HC and then he hired a DC who wasn't one!!
