I have a feeling the 'pin-drop' atmosphere is due more to the fact that it's usually just him and the camraman in the first place. I love how he swears directly to the press, but feels the need to say 'Doggone' to his 'ladies.' Totally, totally, totally *wipes drool from edge of lip*.....
