We needed Arkansas to sweep A&M (among other things) for us to sneak into the top four. A&M with a walk off walk in the 11th to win 1-0.

We can finish as high as five with two more wins and one Georgia loss.

We will likely play Ole Miss, LSU, or Florida.

As usual it’s going to hot as hades in Hoover next Tuesday so this may not be a bad thing, at least for those who plan to attend. Rain predicted Wednesday in Hoover.

I personally would prefer to be the 6 seed just because that’s the early bracket and I’m too old and tired to be tempted with games lasting until 2 am in Hoover in the middle of the week. I swore off that side of the bracket forever after the 17 inning BS we had with LSU in 2019. Stayed with that one until midnight and couldn’t take it anymore and went to bed. Woke up at 3 am to pee, we were still freaking playing.

yes LSU would be the best draw for us RPI wise.... and not a bad matchup on the field either. Although they might too be playing for a at large bid.... although i think they are probably going to get one.
