It sounds like there will be some sort of ticket exchange

or something for baseball next year. I really don't know what Cohen was hinting at when he said that, but it's definately a good thing. I just hope it works well, whatever they do.

It's ridiculous for us to have an empty grandstand.

I also hope that they advertise the games better next year. People can't use the "I'll be back when they're good again!" excuse. It is a different era, and I hope that they do some things better to get people to come to the games, because honestly, it takes more than winning.

I'll be anxiously waiting to see what they do.

this year and the chairback sections were half empty the entire season. Those need to open up and if the season ticket holders don't want to come, turn those seats over to the ones who want to be there.

I hope its a system that people will use. May take a while, but hopefully, it will be worth it. Getting old folks to participate is what concerns me about it, though.

than what is already in place. I am as disgusted as anyone about the lack of butts in the stands, but the deamand just isn't there. There were many games this year where I offered tickets here or elsewhere through email (already in a pdf attachment and didn't require even going to athletics page) and many times left unclaimed. There were certainly no people buying them even if i wanted to sell them. Maybe the University needs to do a better job of educating and encouraging exchanging the tickets, but it isn't difficult to do if you make the effort to download them. With no charge for it, there really is no excuse for not taking the time to download them and get them in the hands of those that will use them. Again, part of the problem is there are not enough that want to use them regardless of availability.
