My son and some guys in his class built that bell back in the mid 2000's. I've rang it multiple times and there's definitely an art to it. It was originally built just like a regular cowbell but was absolutely unringable. They then added a church type bell inside the cowbell. In order to ring it more than once you have short stroke it and develop a rhythm to get the bells clapper going back and forth. Your first thought is to work the lever harder but that's really counterproductive to getting a prolonged clang.Just make sure he doesn't show up and knock the giant cowbell off its hinges. That's on par with the team falling on top of themselves in the smoke of the run out.
