We’re seriously going to lose this game without Simmons even pitching. Unreal. It’s like yesterday taught us nothing. This is assuming he’s not hurt.

Pitching really hasnt lost us this game. Just so many bad ABs against average pitching has.

You’re right. Just frustrating losing a lead on a balk of all things. But you’ve got to score more than 4 against Tulane’s Sunday guys on a day the wind is blowing out with a fury.

Our pitching was always going to get better as the season progressed. Still, we don't have what we had last year. not so far anyway.

Our problem is our bats and the head scratching headcases at the plate. You have to believe this group of guys can generate some real offense - like they did on Friday night. The situational hitting is abysmal.

but.... that's baseball. GOT TO GET BETTER!
