SEC is so stupid about bowl game announcements. That's why there is always a delay from the SEC side.

Kind of wondering what the hold up is on announcing State from an official channel. Liberty Bowl Twitter only has Texas Tech and @HailStateFB is silent.

ESPN is still blank and HailState.com has no updates.

@AZOLibertyBowl announced Texas Tech almost 30 mins ago.
@HailStateFB hasn't posted since a retweet of Darius Slay's stats from 2 days ago.

As of right now, neither LSU's Twitter nor the Texas Bowl's Twitter has announced.

I think there's probably too much smoke in the State to Liberty Bowl direction for it to be anything but procedural stuff, but interesting that we're still waiting.

TT will obviously provide a good story line, but other than that, kind of a blah deal.
