the bulldog club lacks about 200 accounts from having a total of 8000.

I know that it has been talked about before, but these numbers are still very impressive considering that only about 5000 members existed at the begining of 2006.

Membership is still pitifully low, but a 30% increase in 2 years is a good start in the right direction. We need to get it to 15,000 minimum.</p>

I misread it.

I believe that if the FB season is good this year (at least seven wins all said and done) then next year will see a large jump in donations and numbers. Of course i am placing a lot of emphasis on the teams we play in 09 at DWS (this is definitely the season ticket package that you want to buy).

at least the schedule will set up nicely. 7 home games, with away games being mid tenn, vandy, kentucky, auburn, and arkansas, all of which should be winable.</p>

I'm licking my chops over that schedule.... wow.

Of course, this assumes that we don't completely regress this coming season. Croom's recruiting has gotten tangibly better each year that he's been here. So, I don't buy the typical Nafoomer ******** about us falling flat on our faces and that the unluckiest football program in the south was "lucky" last year.

it's brand new stadium to, so it's probably better than La Tech's as well.</p>The only thing that does suck is going to Nashville about two weeks apart. Not that Nashville sucks, but who wants to go to the same town twice in a month?

was waiting until the last minute to schedule people. If Byrne can hook us up with some games about five years in advance, we'll be OK. Otherwise, we'll be going to places like Troy, Alabama.

there are some decent bars around town if I recall right. A couple on their square too. Also, it's the only place I've seen a White Castle and a Krystal right next to each other.

I signed up the day that I found out LT was leaving.

Another thing that got me interested was the Dog Tag account. It's amazing how much more interesting it is when you can see the impact that your dollars are having.

if you increase your membership by 2000 at $100, that's 200 grand you didn't have before. I know it's peanuts compared to a 35 million budget but sooner or later, those $100 donations will be $1000 donations.

gets pledged post-LT vs pre-LT. Personally, I think it will be more post-LT but it may take awhile. We lost some big donors with LT, but we also picked up a few that had been on the sidelines. And as you pointed out, we're also increasing the number of members which will HOPEFULLY payoff in the long run.
