The maroon and white will be prevalently featured in every Bama and LSU player's highlight reel for the draft.

Expect to see Bryce Young throwing over Willie Gay at least a 1000 times. Maybe Will Anderson Jr turnstiling one of our OLs for a TFL.

So here's to Emmanual Forbes going to a respectable team and Jerruh reaching for a 3rd round pick 60 picks too soon.

Aside from The Masters, it's a tradition like no other.

Please show the Forbes pick 6 on Levis when Levis is on the board!

We might set a record of being on the most player’s highlight films. Hey, I’ll take it.

Thought we made the Jahmyr Gibbs clip, but it was A&M.

Also, is the Blind Side scenario more common than I thought?

JTC posted that State has had 5 first rounders since 2019.

All other Mississippi schools combined: 0

2023: Emmanuel Forbes
2022: Charles Cross
2021: None
2020: None (Gay was #31 in the 2nd round)
2019: Jeffrey Simmons, Montez Sweat, Johnathan Abrams
2018: None
2017: None
2016: None (Chris Jones was the #6 in the 2nd round)
2015: None (Preston Smith was #6 and McKinney was #11 in the 2nd round)
2014: None
2013: None (Slay was #4 and Banks was #11 in the 2nd round)
2012: Fletcher Cox
2011: Derek Sherrod
2010: None
2009: None

I remember it being kind of a head-scratcher when Slay went before Banks since Banks won the Thorpe award and was considered the better defender, but history bore that out to be a really good pick.

And like I said when it happened, No STATE Pick 6 ever left me more flacid. But his other pick sixes and INT's were Spot On and Smoot Esque.

Looking at that 2019 draft still pisses me off

Can we deny video rights of us getting smoked in the draft? Maybe other schools do

I did not remember Chris Jones being taken in the second round. Wow.
