Leach did very little in that win. He did what he always does. Annette and the D won that game.
Amazing we finish with the same record as OM after a year of hearing how awesome OM and Kiffin have become. And we will finish ranked higher after playing a much tougher schedule.
Leach finishes with a 4-2 record vs the SEC West.

Leach called a great game tonight. Will Rogers was his usual inconsistent self. And that damn fumble at the end. I hope to hell we have another QB next year. They will be better than Rogers. Whoever it is.

I'll disagree, that play on the goal line was a straight out option run. Rodgers should never have even had an option to run. It nearly cost us, but it didn't. All is right with the world for a little while anyway!

Hopefully in a few years I'll forget all about that play unlike when Tyson kept the ball instead of handing it off to Dixon against LSU and got stoned at the 1 yard line.
The defense did that work. Leach and his QB still suck! Buttttt, if we win the bowl game, I'm done giving Leach that much heat. I said 8+ wins and I'm sticking to it. Still see a lot of problems, but tonight is too good to *****.

I see we still have some snarky from the Leach hate we all know and love. Everybody knows that the defense won the game for us, but Leach didn't do anything to lose this game. He ran the ball 29 times for almost 150 yards. He did what we had to do to win this game and defense did what they had and win this game but did not score any of the points tonight

We still need to see more progress next year. When progress stops then red flags go up. We are better than last year on the field and in the record books.
Will did not have a very good game and obviously they should have handed it off 3 times in a row and kicked the damn field goal if we didn't get it in. But they won and that's all that matters.
There were a couple other times during the game if he had kept the option and run the ball he probably gets a decent gain then slidez down. They were looking for ANYTHING on the goal line. He has been a serviceable, accurate quarterback, but he is not even close to being a runner and is terrible at protecting the ball.
I'm sure he's gonna remember it all year long

That one was worse. I never could stand Mullen after that play. That was a clear coaching mistake.

When we got the backward Pass call and turn over I told the wife we NEVER get those calls so I should’ve expected the fumble at the goal line. That game was so crazy but we were due. I am so proud of our defense.
I still say, Johnson scored and we shouldn't have had to run the ball at the goal line. He touched the pylon with the ball before he touched out of bounds. Everyone watching that play replayed said it was a touchdown, except for that dimwit, ******* referee. I guess it was an attempt to make up the previous call to Joey Freshwater

Leach has some glaring deficiencies. Without Arnette, some would be singing different tunes, and we’d be looking
I’m going off of memory, so I may have it wrong, but seems like we didn’t really start running it until the weather forced Leach’s hand.
Neither of these things are true.
Leach didn’t call a great game but he did do enough.
Rogers didn’t play great but lot of that was ole miss’ game plan. They forced him out of the pocket a lot. We didn’t adjust until late.
Both need to get better but both played well enough to win.
The team won the game. The D played really well and the Mississippi State football team won the game.
How the hell can so many here stay in a constant state of hatred for a coach and QB who just helped us win 8 games and finish a season among the 20 or so best teams in college football. Truly some miserable SOBs.
