He withdrew from school after the gun incident for the semester. Gradeswise he wouldn't have been eligibile this fall, so he's using his redshirt year and will be back in '09 as a Jr. Same for Rodney Prince, except he had already redshirted, so he will be a Jr in 09 and won't technically have a Soph year.

the 3 point gpa system to the 4 point, so I'll just use the alphabet. What kind of grades would he have to have to remain eligible, barring all the other outside considerations. A "C", "D" or whatever?

Not GPA, but the amount of hours passed. AJ needed the 15 (or how ever many) hours he was taking this spring in order to be eligible.
