I've been wanting the SEC to get the ESPN contract for years

It adds 25% to our athletic budget. Not only that, but maybe we'll finally get some payback for Charles Woodson cheating Peyton Manning out of his Heisman in 1997. I'm looking forward to the day the SEC has an above-average corner who returns a punt for a TD in the huge rivalry game, winning the Heisman over some top-notch Big 10 QB.

For years, ESPN has pimped the Big Ten because of the contract they have together. Now certainly the SEC-ESPN deal is worth more than anything the Big Ten has out there. Good thing the SEC didn't get that SEC TV Network established, huh?

Anyway, now I see the ESPN pimping the SEC more. Maybe UF, UGA, or LSU will now be the default pre-season #1 or #2 even if they get blown out in the post season the prior year.

More possible fallout....since the likes of Mississippi State has 2x the TV revenue as freakin Notre Dame, Notre Dame is going to sack up and join the Big 10.
