I need to do the same. Good luck!🍀
me too! I kicked off the start with a 3 day fast - a challenge from my kid who has done it a few time for the med benefits. I'll do it again and try for 4 days. However, many flashbacks of those old sucking weight days... only difference is being able to drink h2o!

I started my descent on January 1 with the rest of the fools. So far so good though. I wanna get down to 150lbs.

What are the medical benefits of three days of fasting?

Keto, Intermitten Fasting, Exercise
And at least 7 hours of sleep. Many people snack when they get tired/sleeply because it is a blood-sugar rush.
Exercise comes in two forms also - cardio and resistance training. They boost different outcomes. Try to do both.

I’m thinking about working my way up to heavyweight. I’ve been at 180 for the past 10 years. I think If I stop exercising and load up on carbs and sweets I can get up over 250 fairly quickly. 😉
:rolleyes:Watch out. Adding 70 is easy. The return trip is so much harder, especially if gourmet and gourmand are both your style. Good luck.

If I want to shave 5lb cutting carbs does it. Good news I am still a prototypical WR and same weight as in 2000 …..6’2” 200lbs

Well, I started Keto on Tuesday so I'll do an official weigh-in on Monday. It is hard giving up carbs, but I've maintained less than 20 grams for 3 days. I've done this before and I usually add a pound or two at the start and than it comes off so that's why I'm waiting. My plan is stay at 20 grams for 4 weeks and than work up to 35 grams/day or so until I'm ready for Nationals. If I want an adult beverage it's rum and diet coke for now which has zero carbs!

Oh, and for those not aware, a medium size banana has 20 grams of carbs, so no banana's for sure.

Funny. I was just now thinking to myself, ‘haven’t heard from crop duster for awhile’. Glad you checked in. I’m guessing you live in the cold weather belt. Get any snow..?
Enough to piss me off, not enough to call off school.

Been a busy season. I haven't gotten to view nearly the PSU wrestling I normally prefer to. Then I erased something that logged me out and I lost this site for awhile. Made an effort to find it and log back in, finally.

Hope ya'll are good.

The lockdown lethargy caught up to me last year. I was about Jordan-Wood sized in May. Started wwimming 5x Week, maybe some modest diet changes (but nothing dramatic) and I'm a Kyle Snyder after weigh-ins now. About 40lbs all told, and I feel great.
