Yo All!

I'm really struggling to find concrete ways to make sure I can watch PSU while traveling in Japan in a few months.

Do any board members have personal experience or even know any ex-pats that reside in Japan who may have some ideas?

Thank you for your help and time in advance!

I would really appreciate that. Game is NBC...wonder if that helps or hurts his odds!?!? I have some other suggestions too, but want to be ready to pull out all of the stops. Thanks for your help and fingers crossed for buddy!

Midnighter! I'm ready for your Japan watching advice/ideas! Gosh-if I could make it work, it would deff be a hilight of the trip! I CANNOT MISS OSU! Thanks sir! No rush....

There are a few 'international' sports bars/pubs that are open from 6pm to 6am or so; Japan is 11 hours ahead so a noon game EST will be midnight Tokyo. But, those places tend to cater more to European soccer and Australian rugby. You can find some at the link below. I'm also reaching out to some locals there I know; depending on where you're staying, might luck out and it will be on satellite TV in your room.

I watched several games from overseas in the past but more recently they seem to be blocked. Even my VPN couldn't work.

Record it. If Penn State pulls upset, watch it when you return. If Penn State loses, delete it. Trying watch it live will in some way cost you fun or sleep and a bad outcome could impact the mood of your next day if you see it live.

This is great-I can start to email in advance to see if I can work out a deal. Thanks Midnighter!

I'll be needing that sportsurge to come through for me for 2 games while in Spain, one of which will be a 1:30am kickoff.
