With every update from the Hurricane Center, it looks more and more like you are about to take a big one right up the ***.

I don't even want to think about a Cat 5. Rumor has it that even large businesses like Beau Rivage and Harrah's Grand are not so sure they can bounce back twice after a major natural disaster in just a short time, especially in this economy. Let's just hope this thing stays away from our Coast and our Oil Rigs and heads to Mexico.

My post was pointing out that the damn thing appears to be steering in a more northwesterly direction, toward Houston.

According to this dude, the difficulty in predicting this thing is that there will be some things happening that might tend to steer it in a more northerly direction once it gets in the open gulf.

take another major Hurricane this soon after Katrina.
Looks as though its going to be a 3 or 4 by the time it hits on Monday and the US, not Mexico unfortunately is going to get it.

they are not going to make the same mistake twice! Our gas stations aleady have lines, people are freaking out down here... and rightfully so. We are already in hurricane prep mode here at work.

I mean, Katrina hit Miami THEN took a big right turn. My money is on it hitting Cuba then turning up toward Tampa.

that pretty much defied every weather law imaginable. Of course, it happens all the time and **** so it's a valid 6pack argument.

Let's just say if that happens again we're all <17>ed anyway.

Cantore isn't at the IP. SunHerald confirmed that, but people in DC are swearing that he is at the Beau.

EIther way, if the hurricane finds out that Cantore may be staying in Biloxi, you know it's going to head in that direction.

Ah, what's a thread about a hurricane without a racial jab?

Good job.
