It's interesting to note that, through 50 games, as head coach at A&M Fisher has a 35-15 record. Kevin Sumlin had a 36-14 record that put him firmly on the heat seat. The big difference, of course, is that A&M is paying a boat load of cash to Fisher with his fully guaranteed contract. Sumlin was making $5 million/year. Jimbo is making north of $9 million for essentially the same results.

I have never been a jimbo fan. He is full of excuses.

I know some commended him for his rant on Saban this off-season but it made him look very foolish and insecure.

Inflation

That was a crushing defeat. They've gone from a possible contender in the West contender to a pretender pretty quickly. App St doesn't show up to lose and cash the check. Killer of Giants.

He's worse than Sumlin. Jimbo has arguably the most talented roster in the country, he's just a terrible coach who owes everything to Jameis Winston.

And the people at FSU have no regrets about cutting him loose for someone else to overpay. I just hope his downward trend continues. Just never cared for him.

There is a real possibility TAMU/Jimbo go 1-3 their next 4 games.
Miami
Arkansas
Miss St
Bama.
Strong possibility. But that team on the bottom of that list has deep concerns of its own. Their running backs and receivers are not up to Bama championship standards. Not taking anything at all away from Texas, but Bama was plain bad on Saturday and I see almost no chance they will play for the national championship.

He's fatally flawed at quarterback - just as Florida is, which was demonstrated in the second half of their loss to Kentucky Saturday night. .

Almost no chance? A team that has been in all but one CFP? A team that has played in six national championship games in the past seven seasons, winning three of them? A team that has finished no worse than 3rd in the recruiting rankings the past 4 cycles? A team with the returning Heisman winner? A team with perhaps the best HC in college football history? Almost no chance? 😄

I was being beneficent. When it's all over in January, and a champion is crowned that isn't them, as happened last season, whatever has prevented them from seizing the prize will be obvious for all to see.

Somebody on this here board told me how good UF was after their first game against Utah.
