Agh, that's "fake news" just like time of possession, ball control, and field position being important. What really works are "explosive plays" and recruiting fast (but small) "athletic" players...and don't you forget it!SCORE MORE POINTS.
I heard that works too.
Wendy's? Donatos? B-Dubs?
The only thing that Columbus produced that I actually like.
Wendy's is Dayton. Not C-bux.Wendy's? Donatos? B-Dubs?
PSU defense played very good in the red zone last year in Columbus. Not sure we’re good enough this year. Don’t give up big plays. GTFB(getthefback) scheme. Play safeties deep. Kind of encourage OSU to run and try to slow down that offense. Not going to stop it. I’m not optimistic.I expect a battle similar to last year in Columbus, competitive to end, PSU turnovers the difference maker. If PSU can run the ball effectively keeping the pressure off Clifford and the pass game and keeping the ball out of CJ's hands, it will be a battle. If PSU can contain the Buckeye running game without having to commit additional defenders to the LOS I expect the game to be in doubt well into the 4th quarter. PSU back end matches up as well with Buckeye wideouts as anybody, but you'll need to get enough pressure on Stroud to at least move him off his spot. If he has time, it doesn't matter how skilled your DB's are, they'll put points on the board. Our defense is much improved, tho they've yet to be tested. I think the old adage is especially true in this game, whoever controls the LOS wins....good luck to your Nits. It's gonna be a good one....always is
You've never heard of Donatos or BW3s?Wendy's is Dayton. Not C-bux.
Don't know what the other two are.
And none hold a candle to Ms. de La Garza.
Yep, you gotta beat’m to win.SCORE MORE POINTS.

Not posting. Got disgusted with the KKK err.. BWI Board and kinda forgot about this board. Wanted to wish Tom and Phillies fans good luck. I’ll start posting more. 2020 and 2021 PSU football didn’t leave much to talk about. I try not to be negative.MM... Where you been?

The beginning of a journey – on November 15, 1969, Dave Thomas opened his very first Wendy's restaurant in Columbus, Ohio at 257 East Broad Street. In no time, the quick-service chain became known for its square beef patties, made from fresh beef, and iconic Frosty® desserts.
OSU's biggest game every year is a noon kick-off game. For PSU noon kickoffs have been for the lesser opponents on the schedule. I cannot remember when the last time was PSU hit the ground running for a noon kickoff. If they do not hit the ground running tomorrow OSU will build a quick lead and make it almost impossible for PSU to get back into the game.I expect a battle similar to last year in Columbus, competitive to end, PSU turnovers the difference maker. True about issues with noon kickoffs but we haven’t exactly “hit the ground running” in many games lately, regardless of time of kickoff, it seems to me.OSU's biggest game every year is a noon kick-off game. Wendy's is crap. Even Dave Thomas knew thatWendy's? Donatos? B-Dubs?
Add me to the list. Never heard of Donatos or B Dubs/ BW3s but I’m never in Ohio. You've never heard of Donatos or BW3s?

At first I thought you were being a little over the top with the scenarios. Then I reread it and thought- saw that……saw that…..saw that. Hell, you’re right. What I look for in big games like this is how will we lose and how spectacular will it be?
Will it be a complete implosion like having one first down in the first half? Will it include us going for it on 4th and 2 from our own 30 yard line in the first half? Will we have a 2 score lead into the fourth quarter followed by a fourth quarter meltdown?
Donatos is a pizza chain, in 13 states. Thought it was more than that.Add me to the list. Never heard of Donatos or B Dubs/ BW3s but I’m never in Ohio.

I think the score will be 21-3 for Ohio State....but then, the 1st quarter will start.
I heard that we're already losing at Can Jam at Nittanyville tonightI think the score will be 21-3 for Ohio State....but then, the 1st quarter will start.
Not necessarily. This is the Big Ten, afterall. They might find a way to somehow give the win to OSU.SCORE MORE POINTS.
I heard that works too.
agree we do not start well in most games. noon seems worse. since this has been an issue for years, it must be something to do with coaching philosophy.True about issues with noon kickoffs but we haven’t exactly “hit the ground running” in many games lately, regardless of time of kickoff, it seems to me.
