4/11 at his HS. I didn't see a time. Lot's of reasons to want this guy here. Hope he stays instate in Columbia, not up thar.
Announcement moved to 4/14 at 9:00 AM from his HS (Dillon).
Could give us a clean sweep for our instate OL targets for '24.
In other news, UPC has whiffed on their first 4 QB targets for '24. Tee hee hee.
who have they gone after for QB?
Air Noland (4*) tOSU
DJ Lagway (5*) Florida
Jadyn Davis (5*) Michigan
Walker White (4*) Auburn
SEC and B1G bound. G. Riley and Dabo went hard for Noland.
Yeah several posters on their board are saying Noland was a developmental QB or he was afraid of the competition in Clemson’s QB room. Guess they didn’t take a look at TOSUs QB room.Air Noland (4*) tOSU

I think production really fell off the last 2-3 years. Plus their WR corp isn’t as talented as in the past.Interesting. Given their recent history with QBs and the addition of RIley at OC, you'd think it'd be big draw for top QBs.

Kornblut did an entire segment on Clemson's QB recruiting problems on last night's show. Documented how the decline has progressed since Trevor Lawrence and lamented his personal concerns about whether it can be turned around in the current situation. His caveat was they are not losing recruiting battles to PC but to top tier programs.
It's true they aren't missing out on 3* guys who are going to Ga Tech instead. But they need the elite recruits to stay near the top.
Still, though, 5 QBs in a row, Clemson got their guy, so to miss on their top 4 choices in one cycle is pretty striking.
A friend of mine who is a Clemson fan said they are having trouble landing a QB b/c they have two ready-made starters on the roster already. Not sure I buy that.
I don’t either. Klubnick is the only one that seems to have played any significant time….and their QB room definitely is no more talented with young highly rated QBs than TOSUs. Big difference is that TOSU may have the best WR corps in college football.A friend of mine who is a Clemson fan said they are having trouble landing a QB b/c they have two ready-made starters on the roster already. Not sure if buy it either, but I can see a recruit questioning playing time if the starter is a 5 star SO, and the backup is a 5 star FR.
I just wish that headcase qb had stuck around to ruin another season of theirs.

My joy is enormous when things take a downturn for clemson and I think there is credibility in the theory that things went out of whack when the gloves came off and other programs could match clemson offers$$$$. Their buyer's market took a big hit when other programs could match them $$$ for $$$. Unfortunately, my joy is always tempered by the realization they face ACC competition while we face SEC competition. I'm also tempered by the fact they have freshman 3 hellious defensive tackles from Ga. and one from Al. that I have seen play and they are the real deal. That hurts me. I'd take either of those for us.It's true they aren't missing out on 3* guys who are going to Ga Tech instead. But they need the elite recruits to stay near the top.
