I thought he was in there to help with the blitz? He let the rusher run right around him. Barely touched him.

I don’t want to disparage a loyal gamecock, but it’s malpractice the way this coaching staff CONTINUES to hand him the ball, expecting anything different!!

If you are going to play him , pitch it to him and let him throw it or run a few wildcat plays. Otherwise, he needs to be on the bench. He’s our trick play/ change pace player. Not a blocker or straight up running back.

He was not very effective in that role either, because putting him behind the center broadcasted to defenses exactly what we were trying to do.

Doesn't matter now as Anderson didn't look so good after a hard hit earlier.

True Bayroster, but a wouldn’t mind seeing a pitch to him and a throwback or a pass. Otherwise, like I said, put him on the bench. I don’t totally agree that some, limited, wildcat might work. It makes the defense have to think so you could run all kinds of things off it. Again, I’m only talking a few plays a game, certainly not a solution to our problems. And he’ll, behind our line, your right, it probably won’t work.

outstanding team player with an exceptional attitude. Will be an asset to any company that hires him. He’s another 4 Star recruit here that just didn’t meet the hype on the field.
