Kid is probably upset 😡 about his limited playing time with Ole Miss because the other 2 Ole Miss receivers were better than him and had more opportunities.

Wonder how liked playing behind those guys.

That's pretty funny really! Last laugh though, if he had stayed here he possibly could have been in the playoff, Oh well!

I looked at the box scored and that was his only catch in the game! LOL

A game where his QB Dart threw for 404 yards and the team 438 all together.

Did he not want to play for any more or something to prepare for the NFL draft? :)

I don't think he had the last laugh, after making no more catches in the game,

It's unfortunate Juice was hurt last year, him and Legette would have made a dangerous pair for Rattler.

Treyno- keep in mind this continued ground swell of resentment was that while he was "hurt", he made I estimate $400k sitting on the bench and then thumbed his nose at our willingness to pay him that. as time goes on and teams get smarter, I suspect clauses will be built in for just such situations- must play at least 3 games to receive 25% pay out, 6 games to receive 40% PO. Him mocking Beamer is funny to a point, but also a bad display of arrogance IMO.

I wonder if juice knows that Beamer will make more money in his lifetime than juice will. Seriously, the juice have like 300 yards catching this year? I mean you did not hear his name on any highlight the entire year. He went backwards in draft status, but I hope that big win against Duke, whose entire team was either going pro or in the transfer portal was satisfying

They can't as of now. But when the players become employees there's hope.

Can we stop bringing that losers activities up everytime he does something? He did nothing at Ole Miss and lost a lot of respect from the nfl because of his antics so hopefully it cost his greedy a$$ some money!

His drop in performance hurt him way more than any antics. Guys are dropping out of bowls midway through the game, and it doesn't seem to affect their draft. So I doubt a little showboating will.

I wonder if he realizes that no one had ever heard of him except for James Madison fans until Beamer brought him to South Carolina. Maybe he should be thanking Beamer because Beamer is not the one Who pretended to be hurt.

Why can't an NIL collective contract contain such a stipulation? The NIL is not the school or the athletic association or affiliated with the NCAA in any way. An NIL contract is a contract that pays a player for the use of his name, image and likeness. I can easily see future contracts stipulating minimum playing time, on field performance, penalties for any arrests or scandals and many other clauses that would reduce the amount paid.

I am no legal expert, but have seen it written that the NIL deals can not be based on performance or play. They are supposed to be independent of that.

But, that was message board discussion, not legal analysis.

If so, that would be different than every other contract anyone enters into where they are paid for a service. In this case, the service is giving permission to use the player's NIL in advertising and the value of that player's NIL is directly tied to his performance of the job that he is doing. If the contract and the payment can't be based on performance or pay, the player could simply quit the team the day after the contract was signed and he would be owed all of the money.

Agreed. But it had to do with the pay for play not being allowed in the contract. I'm sure there are others who can speak more directly to it than I can.
