We signed Clinton and Moye as our DL recruits. Those two arent even scholarship level players. This staff is an embarrassment to Crooms name! Don't even compare the two!

Jeff Lebby isnt fit to run this program if he dont have the balls to fire people. And then Selmon gave this idiot of a DC a three year multi-million dollar contract. What incompetence we have at State! Keenum obviously has no clue about hiring people either. WOW! Talk about failure all the way to the top!
One bright spot with all these juco guys is we should improve our scout team play

If it's true Selmon gave him a multi-year buyout, and I've not seen anything to indicate that is not true, he should be fired immediately along with half the staff. But that would require Keenum to act and he's a whole other problem. We really are on a hamster wheel we can't get off.
Doesn't matter how high our class is or how good the portal is because until they do something about the Defensive Coaching Staff, we will feel like we loss the off season. No one will be happy until something happens with the defensive coaching staff.
Is there much difference in todays portal vs signing JUCOS? In the end you are typically getting a player with experience from a JUCO even and the one from a university could be transferring because of lack of playing time so you may be better off going JUCO in some instances
Tony Mitchell is the only Juco difference maker we signed. Half that class is of the walkon variety. Miles and Shumpert can help but they aren't top shelf starters year one.
The JUCO system is a shell of its former self, and whereas it used to be a great source for a handful of plug and play players, that type of talent just isn’t there anymore because schools have made it virtually impossible to fail to qualify if you can run with a football.
The portal is surely a crap shoot at times too, but the days of getting a Smoot, JJ Johnson, or Rankin out of the JUCO system are pretty much over. I posted last year’s Top 5 JUCO players somewhere, and all 5 had basically done nothing for their new schools up to that point. A few weren’t even starting

We have signed some good defensive backs and a couple of good linebackers. The only glaring hole is DL. Somebody needs to ask why the 17 we can't sign DL the last couple years. I can't comprehend why that is a weak spot. Does Turner not recruit ?? Cause Moye ain't gonna make a difference. We got a few decent pieces on offense. Portal guys lined up for DL I hope
